The Next Hope and DefCon 18 Recap

The Hackers on Planet Earth and DefCon are two of the world's largest underground hacking conventions.

The Next Hope was held in NYC's Pennsylvania Hotel this past July 16th, 17th and 18th, and Defcon 18 was at the Hotel Riviera, Las Vegas, on July 30th, 31st, and August 1st.  This presentation will give an over view of some the talks, security issues, new tools and vulnerabilities presented at these conferences.
